Manufacturers fit motorcycle steering bearings as dedicated components onto the frame head tube and front fork steering column. The steering column features limit blocks to restrict the handlebar return angle within 45°. These steering bearings operate only with oscillating motion and withstand combined axial and radial loads, among which axial load dominates. Though constrained by the radial size of the frame head tube, steering bearings still deliver relatively high load capacity.

Motorcycle bearings support multiple key parts of the engine system. They hold shaft components including crankshafts and camshafts, stabilize shaft rotation, and ensure stable power output and accurate valve timing. In the transmission system, clutch and gearbox bearings transmit power to enable smooth gear shifting. Bearings mounted on the front axle, rear axle and suspension joints carry vehicle weight, dampen vibrations, and deliver a stable and comfortable riding experience. Steering column bearings enable flexible handlebar rotation for precise steering control, offering full support for the efficient operation of all core motorcycle systems.
