Spherical roller thrust bearings

We provide spherical roller thrust bearings to deliver reliable performance under heavy combined loads and misalignment conditions. The bearing features a separable structure, consisting of a shaft washer, a housing washer, and a cage-guided spherical roller assembly. The spherical raceway on the housing washer enables full self-aligning capability, so it automatically compensates for mounting errors and shaft deflection.

The specially profiled asymmetric rollers distribute loads evenly at an angle to the bearing axis. This design allows the bearing to handle extremely high axial loads while supporting moderate radial loads simultaneously. Compared to other thrust bearings, it offers the highest load-carrying capacity, enabling compact, high-power-density machine designs.

We manufacture these bearings with robust cages (pressed steel or machined brass options available) for consistent roller guidance. They suit low-to-moderate speed applications in harsh environments, including heavy machinery, gearboxes, marine propulsion systems, water turbines, and mining equipment. Proper lubrication, typically with oil, ensures long service life and minimal maintenance requirements.
