Abstract: Bearings are widely used in industrial automation equipment, but in the process of use, they often encounter problems such as noise, heating and damage, which affect the normal operation of the equipment. This article summarizes the common problems and solutions in the use of automation equipment bearings, helping customers extend the service life of bearings and reduce maintenance costs.
【Full Text】
Bearings are the core components of industrial automation equipment, responsible for supporting rotating shafts and reducing friction. However, due to improper installation, improper maintenance, harsh working environment and other reasons, bearings often have various problems in the process of use, which affect the operation efficiency of the equipment and even cause equipment failure. Today, ZHH Auto Parts Co.,Ltd will summarize the common problems and solutions in the use of automation equipment bearings, helping global customers use bearings correctly.
1. Bearing noise
Problem performance: The bearing makes abnormal noise during operation, such as buzzing, clicking, etc.
Reasons: ① The bearing is not installed correctly (such as too tight or too loose); ② The bearing is worn or damaged; ③ The lubricating oil is insufficient or deteriorated; ④ There is foreign matter in the bearing.
Solutions: ① Check the installation status of the bearing, adjust the installation tightness, and ensure that the bearing is installed correctly; ② Check the bearing wear, and replace the worn or damaged bearing in time; ③ Add sufficient and suitable lubricating oil, and replace the deteriorated lubricating oil regularly; ④ Clean the bearing, remove foreign matter, and ensure the internal cleanliness of the bearing.
2. Bearing heating
Problem performance: The temperature of the bearing is too high during operation, exceeding the normal working temperature (generally not more than 70℃).
Reasons: ① The lubricating oil is insufficient, too thick or deteriorated; ② The bearing is installed too tightly, resulting in excessive friction; ③ The bearing is worn or damaged, resulting in abnormal friction; ④ The working environment temperature is too high.
Solutions: ① Add appropriate lubricating oil, replace the deteriorated lubricating oil, and choose lubricating oil suitable for the working temperature; ② Adjust the installation tightness of the bearing to reduce friction; ③ Replace the worn or damaged bearing; ④ Take cooling measures for the equipment to reduce the working environment temperature.
